Educational Goals and Philosophy As a shaver, playing school occupied most of my time. My younger sister and I taught a bedroom full of stuffed wildcats and filled in imaginary names in our old school books. The thought of teaching never entered into my mind when I was asked, What do you want to be when you grow up? Paleontology was the first career I decided on, then marine biology.
